Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program

Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP): Immigrate to the Atlantic Provinces of Canada
Canada’s Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) provides skilled foreign workers and international graduates with a direct route to permanent residency. This employer-driven initiative helps fill labor shortages in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
To qualify, applicants must secure a valid job offer from a designated employer in one of these provinces.
Who Can Apply for the Atlantic Immigration Program?
You can apply under AIPP if you are:
✔ A recent graduate from a recognized post-secondary institution in Atlantic Canada.
✔ A skilled or semi-skilled worker with experience in a qualifying occupation.
✔ Currently residing abroad or in Canada as a temporary resident.
Sub-Programs Under the AIPP
The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program does not follow a points-based system. Instead, it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. It includes three sub-programs designed to meet specific labor needs:
✅ Atlantic High-Skilled Program (AHSP)
- Targets foreign skilled workers with experience in high-demand fields.
- Requires a valid job offer from an employer in an Atlantic province.
✅ Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program (AISP)
- Supports semi-skilled workers and high school graduates in filling labor gaps.
- Helps applicants secure permanent jobs in the region.
✅ Atlantic International Graduate Program (AIGP)
- Designed for international graduates who have completed studies in Atlantic Canada.
- No prior work experience is needed for eligibility.
Why Choose the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program?
✔ No Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is required.
✔ AIPP offers a simpler and faster immigration process.
✔ It provides an opportunity to settle in family-friendly communities.
Eligibility Requirements for Applicants
To qualify for the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program, you must meet these conditions:

- Language Skills: Minimum IELTS or CLB requirement based on the job level.
- Education: A high school diploma or Canadian equivalency.
- Settlement Funds: Proof of financial stability unless already living in Canada.
