To qualify as a self-employed person, you must demonstrate:

- Your experience should include participation in cultural activities or athletics at a world-class level, self-employment in cultural or athletic fields, or direct experience in farm management.
- Self-Employment Selection Criteria:
- You will be evaluated based on several factors, including your experience, education, age, language skills, and adaptability. You must accumulate a minimum of 35 points from a maximum of 100 points in these areas to qualify for immigration as a business immigrant.
- Medical, Security, and Other Requirements:
- You and your family members must undergo a medical examination and provide police clearance certificates. Additionally, you must demonstrate sufficient financial resources to support yourself and any dependents upon your arrival in Canada.
